ABOUT HARLEEN

Harleen Saroya is an associate with Innis Law Group. Harleen earned her B.C in Business Management from MacEwan University of Edmonton, AB, Canada in 2016 and her J.D. from Chicago Kent College of Law in 2022. At Chicago Kent, she was an Associate Editor and Web Editor for the Journal of Intellectual Property and represented the school in the Giles Rich Patent Moot Court Competition. Through Chicago Kent’s Mediation and Alternative Dispute Resolution Clinic, Harleen also became a Certified Mediator after completing training with Chicago’s Center for Conflict Resolution.

  • In 2020, Harleen analyzed the ongoing impact of the pandemic on jury trials with a Chicago Kent professor. Research was later shared with the Illinois Supreme Court’s Court Operations During COVID-19 Task Force, the Illinois Supreme Court Committee on Jury Instructions in Civil Cases, and the Law and Society Association’s International Research Collaborative on Lay Participation.
